GEDSI in an energy programme: what it asks
Considering equality, accessibility, and social inclusion in energy programme planning.
GEDSI refers to gender equality, disability, and social inclusion. In energy programmes, these principles can inform work from data collection through implementation.
Relevant considerations may include representation in consultations, accessible materials and venues, and how programme benefits are distributed. These should be assessed in relation to each programme’s context and objectives.
For EmPower II, CST works as a subcontractor to Yayasan Karya Dua Anyam. This article discusses a general approach to GEDSI and does not report programme outcomes.
